About Inner Peace: Medicine for a Happy Life

We have been holding meditation based workshops at Ammerdown Centre every few months since May 2010, and have had really good feedback from participants. Our main aim is to enable to meet and spend some quiet time together in the beautiful surroundings of Ammerdown. At the workshops we also share and experience some very simple, and highly effective tools that can be used in every day life with immediate effect on our own inner peace, calm and positive outlook.

A great inspiration for our work is Matthieu Ricard, who is often called “the happiest man in the world” and in his book “Happiness – A Guide to Developing Life’s Most Important Skill”, gives compelling reasons, as well as simple practices, as to how we can “think our way to happiness”. But don’t just take my word for it, why not come along and experience this directly.

Details of our next workshop sessions are below.

Mindfulness For A Happy Life at Cranmore Memorial Hall, East Cranmore BA44QH
7pm to 9pm (See leaflet for this term’s dates)

Drop in classes as well as special discount for multiples of 4 classes (inc free book)

The sessions are run by Paul and Ros and include mindfulness training and familiarisation with 16 Guidelines for Life. Simple tools to develop positive attitudes, peaceful minds and happier more fulfilling lives.
