Following on from the public forum evening, Paul continues his ‘Back to the Roots’ teachings with a 6-week course at the Black Swan Arts Centre, Frome. Exploring both the explosion in mainstream mindfulness and its original roots, as presented by the Buddha 2600 years ago. The course, guided and facilitated by Paul Wielgus, includes meditation practice, discussion and inquiry. Click here for further information and details on how to sign up.

Cost: £50 for the whole course, including book (The Miracle of Mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hanh) if booked in advance. You will be able to sign up at the Public Forum evening for £60.

Mindfulness Workshop in London

As part of the Dragonfly Coaching for Life Program 2015, I have organised a Medicine For A Happy Life workshop for 4th December 2015, 10am – 4pm, at the London Centre for Mindfulness (Jamyang).

The workshop will be:

  • A day of mindfulness practice facilitated by Paul Wielgus. A meditator for over 20 years, Paul brings this experience into his work as a Coach and Facilitator, as well as when teaching meditation and mindfulness in Somerset where he lives with his partner Ros.
  • The focus for the workshop will be on Mindfulness for Joy, Presence and Resilience.

Autumn Mindfulness at The Lighthouse, Frome

I am please to announce that we will be running another Mindfulness Retreat Day this Spring at the Ammerdown Centre.

So, if you are a beginner or want to take your mindfulness practice a little bit deeper, this is for you. Most of the retreat will be in silence and we request that you bring a simple pot luck lunch with you.

Dragonfly Deeper Discovery Workshop

I am facilitating the first Dragonfly Deeper Discovery workshop at Jamyang Centre in London on October 10th, 10am to 4pm. There will be 3 main parts to this:

1)  Introduction to simple MINDFULNESS techniques that have been proved to improve resilience against the escalating stresses of work (and life) as well as greatly enhance your skills of focus and concentration and generally improve your overall health and well-being. So, if you are wondering what all the fuss is about around mindfulness, or just want some practical tools, then the day is worth it just for this.
2) In conjunction with this, I will be sharing some simple but powerful ENERGY MASTERY techniques, which will make an instant difference in helping you manage your time and keeping balance in your life.
3) Last but not least, you will be one of the very first people to be able to receive an INSIGHTS DEEPER DISCOVERY evaluation and profile. This is a wonderful tool that really helps you explore your key strengths and help identify the areas in your life where you can improve your self-confidence and self-worth, and focus on those activities and relationships that will make you more productive, more effective and above all, happier.

Upcoming events in 2013

Ros and I have just returned from running a half day meditation workshop at Barefoot in Birmingham. It was an astonishing event, with a full house of 49 people and a waiting list, for those who could not get in, for a return next year.

We are running a similar workshop on Saturday 9th Feb 2013 (10am to 1pm) in East Somerset. Cost is £20 in advance and includes refreshments, but you will need to book early to secure a place.
